The boy sat on the
Bench unaware of the approaching
Danger in the form of a man

He sits there smiling
Not knowing that his smile will soon
Be torn from his face and
Replace with pure fear

In the blink of an eye
The bully’s anger turned
Into punches leaving
The boy curled in a tight ball
Like a caterpillar hiding from the world

No one helped him
No one care
But the scariest thing was
No one saw him after that day
And still no one cared
