X-JAPAN - DRAIN

C’est vers le début des années 80 qu’un certain Yoshiki Hayashi propose à son ami Toshimitsu Deyama de monter un groupe, celui-ci accepte et plusieurs formations du groupe X voient le jour (Toshi~Vocal~, Yugi~Guitare~, Tomo~Guitare~, Yoshiki~Piano/Batterie/leader~ puis Yugi et Tomo se font remplacés par Jun et Hikaru) et plusieurs titres sont réalisés. Cependant, Yoshiki n’est pas satisfait et décide de trouver d’autres musiciens. En 1987, hideto Matsumoto, Tomoaki Ishizuka dit Pata et Taiji Sawada débarquent au sein du groupe, et c’est seulement à partir de cette année que le groupe commence réellement à « vivre ». A savoir que le groupe se produit sous son propre label, Extasy records, car à l’époque personne n’osait les produire, leur musique étant jugée trop violente.
