Description

This is the true story of Maryland's 1st Exoneree, Leslie Vass, who at the age of 17 was attending Southern High School when he was arrested, convicted and sentenced for an Armed Robbery he did not commit. Sentenced to 20 years, Leslie tells the gripping story of how he studied law and became adept enough to pro se litigate his case, receive a court release, then upon release petition the State of Maryland's Governor in 1984 for a FULL UNCONDITIONAL PARDON, which was granted subsequently making him the 1st Maryland Exoneree to receive compensation for the10 years he was "wrongfully imprisoned". To add insult to injury, watch the videos and see how the State of Maryland Judicial System for over 30 years not comply to 5 separate court orders to expunge the criminal records relative to his conviction, resulting in Leslie being denied numerous employment positions and being used to deny bail in a criminal case Leslie stayed incarcerated a year before a jury found him "not guilty" of all charges. This is the story Maryland State Executive Administration Members does not want the public to know about, the grave injustice still being perpetrated against one who does not give up the fight for justice. Contact Leslie Vass for Presentations of his story, it will amaze those in attendance, but his story is the TRUTH..
