World's 3rd Largest Clock in Surat

Did you know there’s a giant clock existing in Surat? Well, this is world’s 3rd largest clock, following the ones of Mecca and the one of Istanbul. It is also known as Giant Floral Clock in the world. Dude, did you know this?


Well, until this Surat is named as Diamond City on the globe but this has added one more feather in the glory of our own Surat. "Well, the garden clock has been set up on the occasion of Golden Jubilee celebrations of Gujarat. Its diameter is about 24 m. The cost of assembling this huge clock has been in the range of rupees 21 lakh. The time is connected with the GPS. We have annexed the GPS kit," said K S Desai, Special Project Officer, SMC.
