Workers gherao north MCD Mayor office

New Delhi, Jan 28 (ANI): The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) workers on Thursday encircled North MCD Mayor Ravinder Gupta’s office in Delhi over non-payment of dues. North MCD Mayor Ravinder Gupta said the Aam Aadmi Party is “government of liars” and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has made a “mockery” of MCD workers. He added that Kejriwal does not care about the well being of people of Delhi. The municipal employees had called for a complete municipal shut down on Wednesday due to non-payment of salaries for over three months, bringing services like sanitation, primary health and primary education to a halt.
