Sopore encounter: Security forces gunned down 3 terrorists

Sopore (J&K), Aug 05 (ANI): At least three Lashkare-Taiba (LeT) terrorists were killed by security forces in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir's Sopore district on Saturday. Giving details, Sopore Superintendent of Police, Harmeet Singh Mehta said that they have got a tip off that terrorists were hiding in a house. Searches were being carried out by security forces when they were fired on by hiding militants resulting in exchange of fire in which security forces gunned down three terrorists. Security forces have recovered 3 Ak/47 rifles form them. Security forces are ascertaining the identity of the killed terrorists.
