Jurina - A robot created by the ANGELS and usually a lone wolf. Made a contract with Rena when she was eleven, but she disappeared five years later. Often tells Mayu she loves her and often kisses her if her lips are cut or bruised(Two ANGELS kissing does not form new contracts), but they both really don't know if it's true love or not. Plus, Jurina still misses Rena.

Rena - A simple young girl who was homeschooled at an orphanage and part time worker at a library. She often sings to herself and writes stories. She was almost killed by some drunkard Yankees, until Jurina formed a contract with her. However, five years afterwards, she begins to lose control of herself. She begins having blackouts and no longer listens to Jurina. Eventually, she fell into despair and completely transformed with the darkness, making her "reborn" as Gekikara.
