Wishing For Perfection - Expectations

It seems that life wont be getting better anytime soon

and it cant possibly get any worse.

so why dont i do whats expected of me, no it wont make me happy

and it deffinatly wont make me, me.

but everyone else will smile, i will finally be whats excepted of me.

isnt that all everyone wants anyways?

to be in the 'in crowd' and go to all the parties

to get the guy that everyone dreams about

and to be the girl that all the other girls envy.

ill let that guy do what ever he wants with me

even if it involves lowering my standards

and becoming the new whore.

ill do the things i never thought i would do

the things i told myself i never would do

just so that im the one in the lime light

not the other girl competing for my spot.

Ill post pictures of me in my underwear on myspace

and talk dirty to nasty old men.

ill become everything i never wanted to be

just to be what everyone else expects of me
