I am a seed buried in the field.
I feel the warmth and protection of the surrounding ground.

I am a sprout breathing fresh air
I feel the sun shining down.

I am a young tree.
I feel the growth of my years as I stretch my branches and roots.

I am an old tree.
Marred with lovers carvings, I feel the winds of time pressing me.

I am a fallen tree. On the ground will it be to decay in time, to provide fertilization for future growth in some distant time.

I am a carpenter who has found the fallen me. I feel the shaping of a new life.

I am your chair that you rest on, the house that you sleep in…
