Why do we feel nostalgia? Nostalgia is a powerful emotion that can arise by events that remind you of past experiences in your life. A good example of this is during the holidays. As a kid I would be excited to wake up Christmas morning to find gifts under the Christmas tree. I would open them with a joyful heart. Looking back, Christmas is filled with nostalgia. Nostalgia is also coming back in the media. Reboots have been coming back. Whether you're an 80s, 90s, or even 2000s kid, we all feel nostalgia from our childhood.
