The NPS and PPF are two popular retirement savings plans. PPF provides assured returns on deposits with no risk, whereas NPS returns are market-linked, which means returns are not guaranteed.

Both are vehicles for saving for retirement. Both PPF and NPS have EEE tax status, and deposits are tax-deductible under Sec 80C.
