What is an HND?

A Higher National Diploma (HND) is a nationally (and often internationally) recognised qualification. What is an HND equivalent to? Well,
an HND is equivalent to a foundation degree, and can be topped up with a final year of study to gain a full degree. Many individuals choose an HND over a traditional degree as HNDs are more skills-based and more focussed on specific career skills.
