Be the change you want to see in the world: “What did you expect?”

Polish people are constantly drunk, Spanish people are lazy as hell, Germans are totally boring and Greeks are all poor: Let’s be honest, everybody has certain pictures in their head when thinking about different nationalities.

Especially as European Volunteer living in a foreign country you may get confronted with stereotypes because no matter which vision of citizenship you have, you will always be defined by it. So we – three girls from Spain, Poland and Germany that are volunteering together on a Greek Island - decided to be the change we want to see in the world and created a video about all these sometimes funny but often just mean stereotypes.

Living together with people from different origins and visualizing the differences between expectation and reality made us even more aware of one really simple thing:
Never expect any typical stereotypes from other nationalities but still appreciate the little things that make everybody unique!
