Checkout this bizarre spiky insect that looks more alien than grasshopper.
Kayne Lawton from New South Wales, Australia filmed the unusual creature after spotting it up close.
The insect was covered in sharp looking spikes and had an almost otherworldly appearance.
The rare encounter left him amazed and he couldn't help but share online.
The actual insect is called a Extatosoma tiaratum but is more commonly known as the spiny leaf insect/
