Tesla ($TSLA@US) shares added 1.5 percent in the premarket following CEO Elon Musk’s selloff of $4 billion in company shares. Meta ($META@US) gained 4.3 percent after the company announced that it was laying off 11,000 employees. Homebuilder DR Horton ($DHI@US) and Walt Disney ($DIS@US) dropped 3.1 and 7.4 percent respectively after both companies missed their top and bottom line estimates for their most recent quarters. Affirm Holdings ($AFRM@US) dropped 12.2 percent after significant quarterly losses. The buy-now-pay-later firm has been impacted by the drop in Peloton (PTON@US) equipment sales.
