Seatbelts help save motorists after car flips over multiple times in northwest China

Motorists wearing seatbelts avoided serious injuries after their car rolled over multiple times in northwestern China.

The video, shot in the city of Turpan in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on September 22, shows a car trying to avoid a road sign tipping over and rolling down the road.

The car reportedly rolled over four times to the side of the road before it stopped.

In another clip, a family of three were seen standing on the side of the road without any injuries.

According to reports, the driver did not focus on driving causing the car to drift away from its lane.

When the driver saw a road sign and tried to avoid it, she swerved and caused the car to roll down the road.

Since three people all wore seatbelts, they avoided serious injuries.
