Watangan Matah In Bali

Watangan matah or widely known as corpse matah is one of the sacred rituals and part of a series of Calonarang ceremonies in Bali. At that time, people who volunteered to become matah corpses would be put to suspended animation, and undergo rituals as if they had actually died.
