This is the untold story of the cyclists who went into battle; from the earliest military road tests of 19th Century bicycle prototypes, to the innovative use of folding bikes in WW2 in Europe - dropped out of aeroplanes with paras on undercover missions, and carried on the backs of the British Infantry landing on D Day.
