Vortex Mixer - StateMix Polyurethane Processing Equipment

The Vortex Mixer is a rugged industrial mixer that quickly and efficiently mixes and de-aerates raw materials normally too difficult to blend. The Vortex Mixer blends the raw materials by spinning the container simultaneously in two axes at very high speeds, causing the materials to be forced to the far side of the container. The secondary rotation of the container creates a high-shear, vortex effect providing uniform blending and de-aerating of the mixed materials.

When compared to conventional hand-mixing methods such as drill or impeller mixers, the Vortex Mixer provides better dispersion in a fraction of the time without introducing air bubbles into the mixed materials. Powdered materials, which typically resist dispersion in liquids are easily, quickly and thoroughly mixed with the Vortex Mixer.
