A tribute to Madonna

Being a huge Madonna fan for a long time I was inspired by her so much that I decided to create a tribute performance. The first showing was back in July (09-07-2015) but I was not satisfied. I opened up my creative mind and made a study out of Madonna. Not only choreographically but also conceptually. Madonna remains one of the world’s biggest stars nowadays purely because she re-invents herself year by year and because she is very political. Her ideas speak to me and with this performance as end result I hope to show the world that her ideas are not only hers, I made them my own, simply because I got very connected to them. I am a dancer, a choreographer, a visual artist and a director and I hope my art will reach people. Madonna is my inspiration in this work, musically, visually and choreographically. But her thoughts are also my own and I will continue this work. In all its glory it’s obviously a pure form of entertainment, but I ask you to look further. I hope you enjoy(-ed) watching this video.
