#VOFF4 - Winner Announcement

#VOFF4 showcased 230 films about the world’s issues—big or small. We accepted entries about the environment, human rights, public health, politics, social justice or something entirely different that deserved attention.
The Fourth Viewster Online Film Fest was all about films that try to make the world a better place, being completely free to watch on viewster.com. Millions of viewers publicly watched 230 of the best documentaries, shorts and feature films and voted for them, creating a shortlist of ten entries. The independent jury including successful producer Ted Hope (21 Grams), Finnish director Timo Vuorensola (Iron Sky) and German actress Nora Tschirner (Tatort) picked out three films that got to enjoy part of the $100,000 cash award. The winners were announced on December 8th on viewster.com

In this edition, a portion of the total prize money (US$ 100,000) was donated to a charity organisation appointed by the filmmaker who won the audience award.
