I guess it became
our winter.
Passion born to us
in a foggy-windowed Ford.
All those promises...

while candles and roses
find my mind
your hands find my zipper.
I wouldn't see that look again
until cruel words became fire
in that winter.
And that wind took our love
with the snowflakes.

I'll imagine it's a love profession
through those dirty words you say.
No, I'll go.
Button your shirt, it's
still snowing.
Maybe it's my fault
expecting your concern.
Touch my hand
and take it from yours
to that toy all you silly boys have.
Do you realize our dilemma?
Sex becomes your love greeted by charm.
And I stand in the midst
with false hopes for your heart.
But just another taste
of those lips.
I won't taste reality's bitterness.
With those warm muscles
I'd always feel safe.
