Day after painfull day
Night after horrid night
I punch out these words of sorrow
and poems of pain

Like an imp on my heavy shoulder
I try to stop the maddness
but the beast keeps whispering in my ear

Poem after wasted poem
I have spilled enough blood and sorrow
to fill a thousand pools
yet I linger over the letters
and continue to spew my tears

Oh why am I burdened
oh why has thee bestowed this curse on thy thoughts
why must my punishment be a life time of blacked words

Oh please I ask with humble heart
