Vijay Mallya barred from accessing United Spirits' severance pay

Bengaluru, Mar 07 (ANI): In a major blow to Vijay Mallya, the former liquor baron on Monday has been barred by the Debt Recovery Tribunal from accessing his Rs. 515 crore severance pay for stepping down as Chairman of United Spirits Ltd. Speaking on the order, Mallya's advocate Tarun said that the order has come not to receive the money, adding that temporarily it will be decided by the court on 28th March.
