Find the best financial services for you at: SMARTFINANCESOLUTIONS.NET - Philosophy Question Need your Help!? - [Sorry if its a bit long, trying to explain clearly] I have a theory that in life you can only control certain things that are not directly related to other people. For example, playing against computers (because computers are fixed), breathing, and free writing as a hobby whereas other things like your grades in school, playing games against players, mosts jobs where you are lower in the chain of command, love and family relationships all these you only have a certain amount of influence on and therefore can only affect the ultimate outcome to a certain degree, because they are also based on others decisions not only yours. Here is another example: 1. A couple married for over 30 years and even have three children however one of the spouses suddenly decides to leave everything behind to live a love life with a stranger just met. 2. Two math teachers give different grades to the same student for the same exam for the same paper one gives a D- people the teacher is having a bad day the other gives a B+ because the student did well on the exam. (the same exam)
Humans are by nature unpredictable, and unstable. And so the real question is, how do we escape this, how do we escape failing exams if the grade depends on the teacher, how do we escape a failure of a marriage/relationship if we are to rely on trusting our spouses who are at the core human like all other humans and therefore unpredictable, how do we escape being laid off of our jobs even though we can be a good employee. How can we escape bankruptcy if the economy is based on other people, for example: tax, sales (depending on how many people will buy a good or service)
Hence, and secondly is it possible to live a life where we have ABSOLUTE control on our lives. Where we can determine our own success in life without the burden of having other peoples influences on it.
Those are my 2 questions -
