Vampire Heart - Finding Joy

There are times in one's life when a loss leads
To total termination of the human reality,
When the pain rides in like a blessed
By the devil dagger and drenches the body dry of the soul.
But corruption is not the end,
At least not the end of what I was brought up to believe in.
When the nymphs kissed the sun
And a rose grew from the wastelands of demolished hope,
I woke from my living nightmare.
From where tears used to cascade, now blazes a smile,
When I used to crawl on my knees, now I am brought up to my feet,
And I am able to make that huge leap from sorrow to joy.
