[Tutorial Guide] HOW TO INSTALL ARMA 3 PROJECT LIFE MOD\r

NOTE: Arma 3 Project Life costs $30 to gain server access. This is a high quality, hardcore RP server that is not centered around gunplay/crime.\r
A3PL ITEM CRAFTING GUIDE (Very helpful a must know link for every player, Bookmark this link!)\r

1. Buy Arma 3\r
\r
Search for Arma 3, it should be about $25-30 USD.\r
\r
2. Register on the Arma 3 Project Life Forums & Login.\r
\r
\r
3. BE ATLEAST 15 YEARS OLD and create a new citizen application using the template below\r
\r
\r
NOTE: This is not your average life mod. Development Standards are high. In game models are legally purchased, are expensive, and heavily optimized. A3PL maintains that providing developers payment for their work is a must for the quality of work the community expects.\r

4. Link your steam profile on the Arma 3 Project Life Website\r
\r
\r
5. Download/Install Arma 3 Sync. [Download link at the bottom of the page]\r
\r
\r
5a. Start Arma 3 Sync, and click the Addon Options Tab. Then Click the Blue plus button and navigate to your Steam Arma folder.\r
Example: C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonArma 3 and click open. This places the downloaded A3PL files into the correct directory.\r
\r
6. Setup a new A3PL Repository on Arma 3 Sync. Click the Blue Plus Button on the Repository Tab and paste the following autoconfig URL. Then click import and okay. \r

6a. Download the mods on Arma 3 Sync by clicking the repository tab. Connect to the repository [Last button below the Blue plus sign]. Hit the green check button to scan for new files. Click select all, then hit the Black play / right arrow button to start downloading. [PROTIP - Click settings and set maximum connections to 10 for faster download speeds].\r

NOTE: When A3PL features/updates come out you must resync to the repository and download the new files with Arma3Sync. When you get an error about the TFAR plugin just hit cancel. Task force Radio plugin install is broken in Arma3Sync, see additional steps below.\r

7. READ THE RULES!!! Once your application has been approved go on the A3PL Teamspeak. Youll need to know some stuff for a Teamspeak Citizen Introduction\r

8. Go on Teamspeak and enter the Waiting for Support Channel for a staff team interview / introduction to Fishers Island.\r

8a. Buy Project Life Acess $30 USD. \r
\r
9. Install Task force Radio Plugins to your teamspeak directory using the launcher in the download link below. You need this to speak in game. A working microphone is required at all times. \r
\r
9a. Extr the 0.9.12 File. Navigate to @task_force_radio/teamspeak folder and run the plugin installer. DO NOT COPY THE REST OF THE FILES INTO YOUR ARMA FOLDER. THIS IS ONLY TO GET THE PLUGIN FILES INSTALLED IN YOUR TEAMSPEAK FOLDER DIRECTORY\r

10. Use Arma 3 Mod Launcher and start the game. Always be in Teamspeak when playing A3PL.\r
NOTE: BE UNSUBCRIBED FROM CBA_A3 IN ARMA 3 STEAM WORKSHOP. A3PL USES A DIFFERENT VERSION OF CBA_A3 THAN THE WORKSHOP.\r
10a. Click add local mods on the launcher, navigate to your Arma 3 Directory, and add these 3 folders: “@A3PL , @CBA_A3 , @Task_Force_Radio”\r

11. Connect to the A3PL Arma 3 server. You can search Project Life or connect via this server IP\r
