Nepal is a agri-economy based country but with the recent phase of commercialization it seems that we are inviting environmental degradation too. Chemical fertilizers and pesticides not only degrades soil quality but is also detrimental to ecosystem and planet as a whole. Being agricultural country slight change in climatic condition can have major impact on lives and livelihood. Poverty and low adaptation measures makes the country even more vulnerable to climate change hazards. Human vulnerabilities to climate change is also linked with social inequalities, limited access to information, and exclusion from key decision making process. Therefore early adaptation seems to be a global response before it’s too late.
