This documentary film is about the individuals that for various reasons had needed to migrate, to adapted to new place, to a new culture. This had change their worldview, their way of doing things and their own identity.

"Una Altra Casa" explores the contributions of migrants to built new social manners into the country they migrate, following the traces they had left into their culture. The documentary shows the historical and cultural relationship between Catalonia and Mexico, starting from the Catalan exile during Franco`s regimen (1939-1975) . Showing how the characters in the film were integrated into the dynamics of their new country of residence.
