Description
Song is 'Suspect Device' by legendary Belfast punks Stiff Little Fingers, deriding violence and propaganda from both sides of the ethnic/political conflict (Belfast suffered the highest casualties from 1969-98, being the capital of the North, so this band grew up in they thick of it)...
Footage is spliced from the Battle of Bogside (Derry nationalist uprising in 1969 that lasted several days), and the massacre at the 1972 human rights rally that is known as Bloody Sunday.
You will see unionist rioters, some IRA, and both the RUC and British army getting stuck in.
Incidentally (?) this was the era of the ridiculous 'sus law': http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sus_law
