Description

During the night of June 12, Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces executed a synchronized drone attack on the 'Vostochny' military training site located in the occupied Novopetrivka area of Zaporizhzhia. The operation aimed at Russian replacement troops to prevent their arrival at the front lines. Commander Robert 'Madyar' Brovdi reported that three separate Russian military units were present during the strike: the Kamchatka 40th Naval Infantry Brigade, which had previously endured significant casualties in unsuccessful assaults on Vuhledar, a Buryat Territorial Defence Regiment, and new recruits from Primorsky Krai, all of whom were engaged in the Huliaipole sector. Alongside the training ground attack, USF drones also successfully obliterated a Russian Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile system, ZU-23 anti-aircraft artillery, a MANPADS crew that attempted to counter the assault, as well as enemy command facilities and drone launch sites. The operation was executed by the 9th 'Kairos' Battalion of the 414th 'Madyar's Birds' Brigade, the 1st Separate Center, the 413th 'Raid' Regiment, and the 412th 'Nemesis' Brigade.
