Tyra Bolling est née le 27 juin 1985 à Pitsburgh en Virginie (Usa). Petite elle a été à l'école avec Trey Songz dans sa ville natale.

Tyra aura la chance de faire l'ouverture d'un concert américain des Destiny's Child lors de la tournée "Destiny Fulfilled...And lovin' it tour". Elle s'est également faite remarquer en 2005 avec ses singles "Country boy" et "Still in love" qui ont fais des bonnes performances dans le classement r'n'b américain (Billboard R'n'b).

Elle revient avec son album à venir "Past due" et son premier single "Givin me a rush" qui reprend le sample de la chanson "Human Nature" de Michael Jackson sur l'album "Thriller"
