Three
Steepl'd silhouettes stand
On the corner of a street
Just beyond the center of
Town.

Night
Comes and the town fills
To brimming. The barrooms are
Crowded, but the steeples stand
Forlorn.

Students
Give themselves to revelry,
And the glorification of themselves
Without one glance at those steeples
Three.

Morn
Breaks on Sunday, doors 'neath the
Steeples are flung wide and music 'sounds.
Few thoughts return afterward to those
Steeples three which dwell upon the
Corner.
