Check out this wild bird showdown as two fearless mockingbirds gang up on a hawk outside a Publix store.

Alex Malone, from Atlanta, Georgia, USA, captured the intense encounter as the smaller birds repeatedly swooped at the much larger hawk.

The video shows the hawk trying to hold its position while the mockingbirds aggressively dive toward it from both sides, refusing to back down.

The chaotic aerial battle left viewers amazed at how boldly the smaller birds defended their territory.

One user commented: ‘My dad saw something like this in our backyard once. It is crazy, all the smaller species all gang up on one big bird.’
Another added: ‘He probably ate the family member.’
