Tuesday's market wrap

And on to the markets,....
It was a down-day on Wall Street,... on U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson's exit and the possibility of additional U.S. import tariffs against China.
The Dow Jones finished down 171 points, or nearly zero-point-7 percent,... the S&P 500 slipped about the same percentage amount.
The Nasdaq lost over one-percent at 7,511.
Shares in Korea,... were a tad higher,... as the positive outlook for the global semiconductor market pushed up shares in the tech industry.
The benchmark KOSPI went up a little less than half-a-percent to close at 2,494-point-4,... while the tech-heavy KOSDAQ added zero-point-2 percent at 886.
And the local currency lost ground against the greenback for the first time in three trading days.
