Stocks swung wildly, moving from positive and negative territory on a highly volatile trading day on Tuesday.
However,... the Dow Jones ended more 560 points higher, the best points gain since 2015,... finishing up a little at 24,912-point-7, up over two percent.
This,... after two days of heavy losses.
The S&P 500 rose by 1-point-7 percent at 2,695, while the Nasdaq lifted by over two percent at 7,115-point-8.
In Korea on Tuesday,... the benchmark KOSPI fell little over one-and-a-half percent to close at 2,453-point-3.
The country's blue chip tech names were lower,... with Samsung Electronics down over one-percent by the end of the day, and SK Hynix closed flat.
The second-tier KOSDAQ remained nearly flat,... closing at 858-point-1.
