Trysta Due - Broken, but Not Alone

My heart was broken to pieces,
And everyone left me there in fear
When all I really needed was someone,
Someone who might make it clear.

Days went by and I was still alone,
With no one to stay by my side and help me
To be there through the good and bad times,
But then I knew you could see.

You saw all the pain I was put through,
And you took it all out of my heart
Filling in the holes that I had,
Knowing that we would never part.

I know you are the one I can trust,
Because you are my hope, my love, my sweet
Showing that you cared enough,
That now there was nothing left to beat.

The pain never came back again,
Because you turned me from mud to gold
In only a small amount of time,
My heart never again will be cold.

To this day I know that you’ll catch me if I fall,
Just because you know how to fix it all.
