Trysta Due - Broken to Peices

After all this time
I know what it's like,
To really love someone
And have them love you back.
But there's just one problem
If they love your best friend too.
He broke my heart
So I took it away,
Locking it up
So that I'd never be hurt again.
When he asked for it back
I broke in half,
Not knowing what to say
I just gave it away.
Now as I sit in my room,
I realize how stupid I was
To just give it back,
'Cause now I'm left in peices.
