You have broken my trust
For the last time,
You've turned my heart to dust
For you took the love that was mine,
You were my friend, my love, my hope, my sweet
But I did not know that it was all a lie,
You were the one that showed me defeat
After you told me good-bye,
Broken trust, hurt and pain
It feels like you hit me in the stomach with a ball,
You make me sick, my love, my gain
I'm glad we had anything, anything at all,
You're the one that turned me to mud from gold
Now I feel alone with no one to hold.
