Dear Star,
Star of this abysmal night lend me your heavenly light.
Smile at me, shine for me, shine oh so beautifully.
Divine is the aura and the order of your steps.
Eternal, the effect of your glow upon my dimly lit heart.
The power of your will to give light is accented by your twinkle in the depth of the night.
Though silent you remain and modest at best.
No soul can be with discontent at the sight of you.
Blessed is he who sees the truth and wonder in your splendor.
Though you seem to be out of this world, maybe, you are more for this world than me.
O star, before I stand to ask that you take my soul in flight,
so that someway someday soon I will inspire hope the way that you do.
