Trinny Trin - Hurting

Lost in a wilderness and a world unknown
Where lust and greed rule and love is rarely shown
People think they can have as they please
But they don't realise what the other person sees
Taking all with none in return
Is why one day their world will burn.

A little girl crying in her sleep
Tries to hide her emotions so deep
But she has been hurt again
And her world once more wants to end
She can't understand why they do this to her
So she cries and says 'It's a curse'.

She had no-one to run to
And say 'hold me please'
So she stayed alone in her room
With her head tucked up with her knees
So once again she must tell herself 'no'
That she can't cut off the oxygen flow
How she dreams to be a dove and able to fly
Because then she could pass this world by.
