Són les vuit del matí i a Mas Camps ja ha començat l'activitat. La cuina fa olor de cafè i de lluny se sent el soroll d'un tractor que s'aproxima. L'encarnació és a l'era posant aigua a bullir dins el perol, en Llorenç crema males herbes en una foguera improvitzada. A dins han arribat fills, nets i amics però el matador es retrassa...

I't's 8 o'clock in the morning and the activity it's beggining at Mas Camps. The kitchen smell's like coffee and there's the noise of a tractor approaching. Encarnació it's outside boiling water and Llorenç burns weed. Inside sons, grandsons and friends are arrived but the slaughter is delaying...
