Description

Traditional stone chakkis consist of two circular stones. Grain is poured through a hole in the top stone, and a wooden handle is used to rotate it. These were commonly used in Indian homes before electric flour mills became widespread. Today they are mainly used for:

Fresh stone-ground flour with better flavor.
Decorative or heritage pieces.
Museums, restaurants, and village-themed cafés.
