Toto Rosanna Drum Isolation track

The incomparable Jeff Porcaro plays the classic Porcaro shuffle on the track Rosanna from the 1982 album Toto IV. This beat is also known as the (Bernie) Perdie Shuffle or the John Bohnam Beat (Fool in the Rain). Although many question it's origin or whether Jeff was influenced by Perdie or Bohnam I believe it's a universal beat that many of us would come up with given similar circumstances... and talent.
