Tom and Jerry, 73 Episode - The Missing Mouse (1953)

The short three-minute fragment from series is the 73rd one reel American animated Tom and Jerry short, created in 1953, directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera and produced by Fred Quimby. It was the first and only cartoon in the Hanna-Barbera era (1940-1958) that the music was not composed by Scott Bradley. Instead, Edward Plumb scored the music for this cartoon. It was animated by Ray Patterson, Ed Barge, Kenneth Muse and Irven Spence, with backgrounds by Robert Gentle. It was released on January 10, 1953 by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.
Interesting facts:
The phrase "Don't you believe it!" uttered ghostly a bass voice - a quote from of popular American radio broadcasts of the 1940s. Tom also pronounces the her in a series of "Mouse Trouble".
Extremely explosive little mouse is a parody of the atomic bomb.
