To Be Or Not To Be - as done by 5 Hamlets

I watched Kenneth Branagh's masterful version of Hamlet the other day (I highly recommend it!) and was inspired to make this little multi-Hamlet montage! (I thought I was being so creative and unique with this idea, until I found two other videos with the same idea ;))

First, be sure to turn your volume up! Mr. Branagh's and Mr. Olivier's versions are really quiet and I turned them up as high as they can go.

This stars (in order) Kenneth Branagh, Mel Gibson, Ethan Hawke, Laurence Olivier and Kevin Kline. Mr. Branagh, Mr. Olivier and Mr. Kline all directed their films themselves. Mr. Gibson's version was directed by Frano Zeffirelli and Mr. Hawke's version was directed by Michael Almereyda.

So, who's your favorite? My personal fave is Kenneth Branagh :)

Hamlet, of course, is written by William Shakespeare.
