I'd built my life apon a hope
And then my wish came true
So soon it then was jerked away
I don't know what to do

What can I learn from this mistake
Applying to my life
I'll give up love, of this I'm sure
eliminating strife

It hurts so much but I don't care
love will not catch me unaware
Say 'Yes' again I do not dare
My sanity I hope to spare

I'll walk away
After so long
The weak will laugh
But I am strong

This painful lesson
That I have taken
Is that all love
Is now forsaken
