Timothy Kashorek - Burnt Out

Devoid of all emotion
Just drifting along
through the sea of the
condemmed
I've joined them
Willingly

Burned from the inside
untill only skin is left
struggling for a grasp
on something substantial
Reality is not so solid afterall

The shell lives my life
a face to the nameless horrors
I am constantly plagued with
At first a facade
But now it becomes me

Without the feelings
the emotions so vital to life
why live?
Just make it end
but not quickly

Any feeling is better
than none at all
So make me suffer
I must feel the agony
of the past
of what I was acclimated to
Then I can have peace

But what is peace?
