Description

The angel of the setting sun
Stares out across the cliff face
Though perfect she's the only one
No hope to restart her race

She thinks of times
From long ago
Of pain and death
And cold and snow
The mountain peaks
From long ago
The times she'd
rather not know

Across the mountains
and the vast sea
lies her ancient home
Her dead life tree

They came, she ran
and left it all behind
Of the day it all began
The hollow clefts remind

From her home she was driven
By those meaning her harm
And now they're not forgiven
False lies' intent, disarm

The perfect face
but a lack of a smile
It just hasn't seen joy
for too long a while

She thinks of her family
and how they're avenged
But it dosen't seem right
A wrong message to send

Yes, out on that cliff
of which I have spoken
Lies the last of the angels
hopelessly broken
