Thursday's market wrap

And these are your closing figures on the market,...
Wall Street finished the day up on Thursday,... putting all three major shares on track to snap their recent run of losses.
The Dow Jones finished zero-point-7 percent higher,... at 24,962-point-4 while the S&P 500 was up one-tenth of a percent at 2,703,... its first gain this week.
And the Nasdaq, slipped zero-point-one percent at 72-10.
And losses on Wall Street draged Korean shares on Thursday,... with foreign investors and institutions cashing out gains.
The benchmark KOSPI fell a little over half-a-percent to close at 2,414-point-2-8,.. and the junior index KOSDAQ, also lost about the same amount and finished the day at 870.
